Payments

WeDo eBikes offers electric bike hire. Payments for all services are taken in advance online via card transactions. We cannot take payment over the phone.

Your credit/debit card will be kept in a virtual vault for the duration of your hire period. No payments will be taken as deposit. On the safe return of your undamaged eBike, your credit/debit card will be released and all details erased. If the eBike is damaged through negligence, an assessment of the cost of repair will be made and deducted from your credit/debit card prior to its release.

Late returns

Late returns will be charged at £20 per 1/2 hour after an initial 15 minutes of grace period. Therefore, please ensure you are fully aware of the time required to return your eBike on time.

 

Cancellations and refunds

Where our customers cannot attend their activity for reasons of their own, WeDo eBikes will happily change the date of your booking. No refunds will be given.

WeDo eBikes maintains the right to cancel sessions at any time should the senior management deem the weather conditions too dangerous. In this instance, customers will be offered the opportunity to book another date or a full refund.

Equipment

Our equipment is regularly checked for damage and aesthetic degradation. We consider the high standard of our equipment is a reflection of our brand and our great care when it comes to your safety and enjoyment whilst using our eBikes.

If you discover any of our eBikes is faulty, please report it to any member of staff prior to the start of your hire otherwise you may fall liable for charges associated to the damage.

Our eBikes and other equipment are expensive, so please take care not to damage them. Accidents do happen and we appreciate that, but any obvious lack of care, misuse or mindless behaviour that results in our eBikes being damaged, will result in a fair charge being issued.

It is the responsibility of the person using the eBike to report any damage caused during the hire period and we favour your honestly. By hiring our eBikes, you thereby agree to take responsibility for and pay for any damage caused by improper use.

Health and Safety

WeDo eBikes is covered by public liability insurance.

All customers hiring equipment from WeDo eBikes are required to sign the Terms & Conditions and Waiver form to acknowledge and accept the risks involved with using our equipment.

All customers must be aged 16 or over to hire our equipment.

Customers hiring and using our equipment must be fit and healthy, and not have any pre-existing medical conditions that could be aggravated by the use of an eBike.

Customers must be competent cyclists.

If you are perceived to be under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs, you will not be permitted to hire our equipment.

All customers must undertake our safety brief on every occasion that they hire our equipment. All customers are also required to wear a cycle helmet (supplied by WeDo eBikes) and this must be worn correctly at all times when you are cycling.

WeDo eBikes reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions without notice.
